Me is a two-letter word where the e says its name. Point to your child every time you read it together. Pair it with I to show the difference: I start the sentence, me usually comes later, as in “I see you, you see me”.

- Come and play with me.
Game: Me, me, me!
Pass a soft ball around a small group. Whoever catches it reads the next card. If the card says me, they hold the ball up high and shout “me!” before passing it on. Shuffle the cards between rounds.
Practise next
