How to teach “our”
Our sounds like the word hour, and the letters do not match the sound well, so it is best learned by sight. Make a family label for the fridge that says “our family” with everyone’s names underneath. Point to it whenever you say our.

Game: Our things hunt
Give your child sticky notes that say our. They stick one on everything the whole family shares, such as the sofa, the door or the fridge. Then walk around and read each note: “our sofa”, “our door”.
