Cursive Letter n Tracing Worksheet
Cursive n has two humps and starts with an overcurve. It looks different from print n, which surprises many children at first.
What’s on the cursive n worksheet
Cursive N and n to copy, dotted n rows to trace and join, the words nest, nut and nose, and a line for your child’s own n.
How to write cursive n
Start with an overcurve up to the dashed line. Come down to the baseline, then make a second overcurve hump and finish with an undercurve.
What to watch for
Children who learned print n often make only one hump. Cursive n has two.
Joining n to other letters
After its second hump, n curves away along the baseline. That curve carries straight into the next letter in net and nut. Practise na, ne and no, then write nap and net. Compare n and m side by side.
