Tips for little shape spotters

  • Ages 3–4: start with circles, squares and triangles. Trace the shape in the air with a finger.
  • Ages 5–6: go on a shape hunt at home: a plate (circle), a book (rectangle), a roti (circle), a window (square or rectangle).
  • Ages 7–8: count the sides and corners. A triangle has 3, a square and a rectangle have 4, a circle and an oval have none.
  • Wrong answers are fine. The quiz waits for the right one, and only first tries count towards the stars.
