Four steps on one page

Print one per child, or slip it in a plastic sleeve and reuse it with a dry-wipe pen.

A simple way to teach “which”

Which starts with wh and ends with ch: wh-i-ch. Point to both digraphs. Then ask choosing questions all day: which cup, the red or the blue? Which book tonight? Write which on a card and hold it up as you ask.

Quick game – Which is it?

Put three small objects on a table. Describe one: which one is round and red? Your child points to it. Then they describe one for you.

Read these together

  • Which one do you like?
  • Which way is home?
  • Which hat is yours?
  • I know which one!

“which”: number 40 of 46, Dolch second grade list, typical ages 7–8. Review the first grade words first if it feels hard. It contains the ch digraph, so it pairs well with our ch digraph worksheet.
