Birthday Sign Maker: Free Printable Birthday Signs

Make a bright “Happy 5th Birthday” sign with your child’s name and photo in under a minute. Print it on A4 or US Letter for the party, or save it as a picture for WhatsApp and Instagram. It also does baby month signs (“Happy 6 Months”) and half birthdays.

Made on your device: your child’s name and photo never leave this phone or computer. Nothing is uploaded, no sign-up, and it works offline once loaded.

    How to use it

    1. Type your child’s name.
    2. Choose Birthday, Baby months or Half birthday, then set the age with the − and + buttons (1 to 18 years, or 1 to 11 months).
    3. Pick a language (English, Hindi or Indonesian) and one of five colour sets.
    4. Optional: tap Add a photo. It appears in a round frame between the greeting and the name. Add a short line under the name, such as the date or “We love you!”.
    5. Tap Download free PDF to print, Save picture for your gallery, or Share to send it straight to WhatsApp.

    Why it helps

Party signs from print shops take days, and most online makers ask you to sign up or add a watermark. This makes a print-ready A4 or Letter sign instantly, free, with no watermark except a small parentoven.com at the very bottom.

The sign is drawn at print resolution, so it stays sharp on a wall or the cake table, and the same file looks great as a phone picture.

Hindi and Indonesian greetings are built in, so grandparents can read the sign too, and the baby month option makes a matching sign for every monthly photo before the first birthday.

    Parent tip

Print two: one for the party wall and one to keep in a memory box with the date written on the back. Take the yearly birthday photo with the child holding the sign; in a few years you will have a lovely row of photos to compare.

For the best print, use thicker paper (120 gsm or more) and set the printer to “Actual size”. Pin it up with washi tape so it does not tear.

    Questions

    Is it free?

Yes, completely free, with no sign-up and no watermark (just a small parentoven.com at the bottom edge).

    Is my child’s photo uploaded?

No. The photo is opened and drawn on your own phone or computer, and the PDF and picture are made there too. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and the photo is not saved: it is gone when you close the page.

Can I send it on WhatsApp?

Yes. Tap Share and choose WhatsApp. If your browser cannot share files, Save picture puts it in your downloads or gallery so you can send it from there.

Which paper size should I choose?

A4 in India, the UK, Indonesia and most of the world; US Letter in the US and Canada. Print at 100% or “Actual size”.

Can I write the greeting myself?

The greeting is fixed so the layout always looks right, but you can add your own short line under the name. For wishes to write in a card, see our birthday wishes pages.
