    How to use this map

    1. Ask the teacher which standard or skill the class is on this month, or look at the homework.
    2. Find the code in the table, such as 1.MD.B.3.
    3. Print the Level 1 page first. Move to Level 2 when it feels easy.
    4. Keep it short: 10 to 15 minutes, then play the game on the worksheet page.

    Where these standards come from

The codes and wording come from the official Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and English Language Arts. Some US states use their own versions of these standards, so codes can differ slightly at your school.

Checked against the standards on 23 October 2026. Parent Oven is not affiliated with the Common Core State Standards Initiative.

    Common Core worksheet questions

Are these worksheets aligned to Common Core?

Each skill marked ✅ in the map is practised by that worksheet. We only mark a standard as covered when the worksheet clearly practises it, and we use 🟡 when it covers part of it.

Why do your money worksheets not show US coins?

Parent Oven is used by families around the world, so our coins show plain values (1, 2, 5 and 10). The counting skill in 2.MD.C.8 is the same; use real coins at home to practise dimes and quarters.

Which grade should my child start with?

Start one grade below where they are if they lack confidence. Success on easy pages builds the habit.

Is there an Indian curriculum version?

Yes. See our NCERT and CBSE Class 1 and 2 worksheet map.
