Certificate Maker for Kids: Free Printable Awards
Celebrate the big little wins: Star Reader, Potty Champion, Brave Star at the doctor, First Day of School, Preschool Graduate and more. Add your child’s name and photo, sign it, and print a proper certificate in a minute. Free, no sign-up, nothing uploaded.
Made on your device: your child’s name and photo never leave this phone or computer. Nothing is uploaded, no sign-up, and it works offline once loaded.
How to use it
- Type your child’s name.
- Choose an award. The title and the “for …” line fill in for you, and you can change both, or choose Write my own.
- Check the date and add who it is from, for example “Mum and Dad” or “Nani”. Leave it blank to sign by hand.
- Pick a colour. Optional: add a photo and it becomes a gold medal in place of the seal.
- Tap Download free PDF to print (landscape, A4 or US Letter), or Save picture / Share to send it to family.
Why it helps
Specific praise works better than “good job”. A certificate that names the exact effort, such as “for reading every day” or “for being so brave at the doctor”, tells your child what they did well, and it becomes something they are proud to show.
The awards cover real milestones of early childhood, from potty training and sleeping in their own bed to the first day of school and preschool graduation, not just school subjects.
It prints as a crisp, full-page landscape certificate with a proper border and seal, and the photo option makes it a keepsake.
Parent tip
Give the certificate soon after the effort, and read it out loud together. Keep certificates for effort and kindness, not only results: “for trying again after falling off the bike” teaches more than “for winning”.
Do not overuse them: a certificate now and then for a real milestone keeps it special. Display it on the fridge for a week, then add it to a folder of achievements.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes, free for home and classroom use, with no sign-up and no watermark other than a small parentoven.com at the bottom.
Is my child’s photo uploaded?
No. The photo is opened and drawn on your own phone or computer, and the PDF and picture are made there too. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and the photo is not saved: it is gone when you close the page.
Can teachers use it for a class?
Yes. Change the name, download, and repeat; your award, colour and signature stay the same between children.
Which paper size should I choose?
A4 for India, the UK, Indonesia and most countries; US Letter for the US and Canada. The certificate prints landscape at 100% or “Actual size”.
Can I change the wording?
Yes. Edit the award title and the “for …” line, or choose Write my own. Keep it short so it stays on two lines.
