How to Use These Alphabet Tracing Worksheets

  1. Click any letter above, then press Download PDF and print on A4 paper.
  2. Start with a thick pencil or crayon. Little hands find it easier to grip.
  3. Trace each letter from top to bottom, following the dotted lines, first the uppercase and then the lowercase.
  4. Say the letter sound and the picture word out loud (A for Apple, B for Ball) to link sounds and shapes.
  5. Do one letter a day, or revisit tricky letters. Short, happy sessions of 10 to 15 minutes work best.
